| Long Description: | Series 1514 Faulted Circuit Indicator, Special Application Offering for temporary fault detection where reclose recognition time of 32 msec. is required. Recommended for circuits with fast protection settings capable of opening and reclosing in less that 10 cycles. Available with adaptive trip logic only. Requires 8 Amp minimum load current for reset. No current auto reset should be specified. (Trip/Inrush Logic Option A) Adaptive Trip requires 60 second continuous minimum load current, arming time less than 1/4 cycle fault current, loss of current within 60 second of fault current. (Trip/Current Option N) 100 Amp di/dt adaptive trip, Note 3 Amp minimum load required. (Reset Time-Delay Option C) 4 hour automatic with current reset override, 60 seconds after restoration of power. (Factory Code 3). (Indicator Option X) Temporary fault indicator option 4 Red, 1 Amber LEDs, standard for applications up to 69kV maximum. (Transmitter Phase Encoder option N) No Transmitter. (Factory Code A). (Temporary Fault Reset Time Option 1) 4 Hours. |
